Miika Warsell (b. 1975) is a pianist and composer from Helsinki, Finland. Miika's music has been heard on U.S. TV networks such as Discovery, ABC, CBS and NBC. He is best at coming up with great themes on the piano, conjuring sounds from synths, channeling beautiful chordal progressions and impeccable counterpoint. His music conjures visual imagery, making it an outstanding companion to picture. Miika's past or present music production library collaborations include APL Publishing, Apollo Music, 4 Elements Music, Scorekeepers Music and Really Slow Motion.

Besides his work experience, Miika has formal music qualifications from the East Helsinki Conservatory. He has also completed some credits at Sibelius Academy. Miika has studied composition privately under the tutelage of Prof. Harri Wessman. Miika has also studied musicology at the University of Helsinki. In addition he has completed a Diploma in Media Music from Thinkspace - accredited by the Universit of Chichester. Miika has also studied film and media at the University of Malta.

In addition to his musical background, Miika holds a Bachelor (Hons.) degree in psychology and a Masters in English and pedagogy from the University of Helsinki.
