my first real attempt at composing was a symphony and efforts in this direction have made up a lot of my orchestral works.  The renderings are most commonly currently with the Cinematic Studio collection or Spitfire's BBC Core, generally running under NotePerformer's Playback Engine.

Biography

originally from St. Andrews, Scotland, a self taught composer of works in primarily traditional forms such as the symphony or string quartet though with an increasing number of fairytales and similar or sacred works for voices . Style is varied but tend to the late romantic. The greatest influence on my work is Janáček and in orchestral works quite often Bruckner is to the fore. It's divided into three "reels", namely Orchestral, Chamber and Vocal/Choral, all of which can be accessed from here as follows:
